Turkeys! At least 31 turkeys!

I noticed these while traveling though Albany Oh yesterday Feb. 13th 2010. I have never seen any more than 4 or 5 at a time.
I had a 70 -300mm lens on so I could not get all the turkeys in on one shot. I'm guessing there were 40-50.

Nice pictures. I have seen over 200 in one field on Dry run rd.The field is black with them. Another good place to see them is just outside of Londonderry on rt 50 east. We have about 20 that come through our yard every spring.

I can only imagine what the residents thought when they saw all them turkeys...

given that the orange and white box on legs in the last picture is a landmark for me... Ohio University Airport should be just right of that shot.

You got it! We had just passed the airport. What fun, snow everywhere and I'm setting by the roadway with cars buzzing by @ 65mph, but I was not going to miss that opportunity. 

Oh, I remember watching that episode of WKRP I think it was their best one!
