ATTENTION CHILLICOTHE CITIZENS

When the recession hit, we all made sacrifices,

EXCEPT THE CITY ADMINISTRATION OF CHILLICOTHE !

We have all made cuts, so that we could survive,

EXCEPT THE CITY ADMINISTRATION OF CHILLICOTHE !

Many of us have lost our jobs and our homes and continue to make even deeper cuts so that we can continue to support our families in these tough economic times,

BUT NOT THE CITY ADMINISTRATION OF CHILLICOTHE !

The Chillicothe City Administration continued to spend your tax dollars and refused to make necessary cuts while continuing to give exuberant bonuses and pay raises.

NOW THEY WANT  YOU  TO BAIL THEM OUT!!

Do not let the City fool you with their threats to cut safety services .
Force their top-heavy administration to make cuts first!!
Force them to curb unnecessary and wasteful spending and keep your money in your wallet, and out of their bank account.

It seems the City Of Chillicothe Administration wants you to make all the sacrifices.

FORCE FISCAL RESPONSIBILITY AND VOTE AGAINST THE TAX INCREASE LEVY

A lot of that fat, that needs cut, should be cut from city council.

Part time employee's with full time benefits, most getting coverage for their family...  That needs to stop.

I am still serious about abolishing the ENTIRE Police Department IF the city is placed in a position that they will be forced to carry out their threats.  Why cripple both the Fire and Police Departments?  Police Officers can be replaced by Deputy Sheriff's who are already tasked to provide law enforcement to EVERY citizen of Ross County, regardless of where you live.  Is that the best option?  NO!  Will it work?  YES!  Look around, many Police Departments no longer exist but there is still professional LE present.  Our Fire Fighters/EMTs cannot be replaced with local resources.  They're only backups are Volunteer Departments and Contract Squads.  None of which are suitable to provide what Chillicothe needs.  If the Police Department is abolished, part of the money from their account could be used to actually improve the Fire Department and the remander would go to the Sheriff's Department for extra deputies to patrol the city.

Remember this is a problem that has been created by the past and current leadership of Chillicothe.  It is not the fault of the citizens of Chillicothe.  Unfortunely, the citizens may have to pay the price.  It's simply way past the point of where they can continue to threaten the citizens and expect the citizens to step up and bail them out.

I think this is a good idea because I feel the Sheriff understands economics better than R. Moore. However, we need to talk to the Sheriff to see if he can "fit the bill" or how much more he will need to "fit the bill" - any comments or comments please...

Again, I hope that it will not come to this but I'm not confident anything will be done to stop the train wreck that I see coming.  You could ask but I'm sure he will remain politically correct and say that he would not be able to do it.  The law says he would have no choice
